[Bug 28173] Pharaoh (sometimes) fails to start

Heh, 4 years now.

I dug out my CD and tried this again - no luck, I'm afraid
Clean install of Pharaoh (& Cleopatra expansion) results in the attached
console output. Just outputs that but nothing else happens
