I suspect 56d4de0fdee57b0acf02399525a893cc1b42d759 or
df99c9b9f4190c4c0f96dd3c7e2f6632d4d9c077 did the trick. It would be great if
you could do a reverse bisect to find what fixed it, assuming it was a change
in Wine after all.

BTW, Mesa version won't matter if you're using proprietary Nvidia drivers.
