Dierick <o.dierick(a)piezo-forte.be> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Version|4.13 |4.0.1 Severity|critical |normal CC| |o.dierick(a)piezo-forte.be Component|apphelp |-unknown --- Comment #1 from Olivier F. R. Dierick <o.dierick(a)piezo-forte.be> --- Bug triage notification. Hello, Issue in a single application is severity 'normal'. Read more about severity levels description there: https://wiki.winehq.org/Bugs#severity Backtraces are often not helpful. Please provide normal(=without WINEDEBUG) terminal output when filing bugs. Instructions to get a log can be found there: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log Please, don't quote whole files longer than 5~10 lines in the comments. Add them as attachment instead. There are no indication that component 'apphelp' is involved. → Component set back to default 'unknown'. The backtrace shows that you're using wine stable 4.0.1. → Wine version set back to 4.0.1 to reflect that. (!) Note that you have to test with a recent wine-devel or wine-staging version to have a valid bug. There are two things that are required for Steam in Wine: 1. Steam requires some Windows font names to be available (See bug 32342). The universal way to install them is to use 'winetricks corefonts': https://wiki.winehq.org/Winetricks 2. Chromium sandbox mode is not supported in Wine. The Steam.exe command line option -no-cef-sandbox must be used on the command line, in any desktop launcher or menu shortcut (See bug 39403). Resolving as duplicate of bug 32342. Regards. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 32342 *** -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
