Huw Davies' series of patches fixed the wrong text alignment in these games.
The attached screenshot shows what the journal in the game looks like as of 
commit 17e72c816b9cbc17aeaae1c2ecf2ba230083817d
gdi32: Load the font properties from the cache if it exists.
