Is this specific to the current implementation, or did this also happen with the "raw3" patch? From the description it sounds like we're not enabling XI 2 in some cases when we're supposed to, but that wouldn't be specific to rawinput.
It also happened with the raw3 patch. I had noticed it in passing, but didn't have any more information than, "The mouse sometimes acts like it's bound to a box when using mouselook."
