Are you running this directly or over the VNC? The error indicates that your CD-ROM is damaged or incorrectly mounted.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the VNC? I usually use PlayOnLinux to install my stuff, but because the Setup wasn't loading properly in POL (nothing happening) I tried to load it from the command line.
