OK, I can confirm that that commit `745a11a231816a7d82490156c72a18c39216a14c`
is the problematic one. Building with it makes a broken Wine install on that
rig, building without it makes winecfg update the index and the config window
pops up just fine. Winamp runs fine as well.

So, what's the next step? Clone, then merge `mr-8591` and see if it works?
