Then installed the app and this was the result. The problem is still there in Windows 2000 and Windows XP compatibility modes, but gone in Windows 98 mode. (There's actually a different bug in 98 mode, but has an easy workaround.) Also, the Richedit workaround created more bugs as well and I had already removed it this morning.
