Your patch has partially fixed the issue.

On first connect, flickering occurs on (IMHO) every new GOP of h264 stream.
At low-bandwidth-mode, second reconnect works fine.
At standard-mode, flickering is still visible on every GOP-change.

Tested with Wine 11.0rc1
