Is it still useful to do this now that it is so out of date and the bug is resolved? If so I will try to do it but it may take a long time as I'm pretty busy right now.

The remaining bug is that I can't cut and paste into the addressbook properly. however, cut and paste works in the normal email composer however. So it isn't serious otherwise I would report it as a seperate bug. That problem has been there in every version I've used along with some superficial rendering glitches of the UI.
There a few copy and paste bugs, i.e., bugs 4523 and bug 7372. If neither is similar to yours, please open new bug.
