[Bug 15751] CFileSystem_Steam::Init() failed: failed to find steam interface

the Homedir is on ext3. I am reinstalling steam by doing rm -r ~/.wine and then
winecfg followed by wine start SteamInstall.msi.

I have also checked the integrity of the files by doing both 
"Verify integrity of game cache"
and
"Defragment cache files"
