Crashes will occur after less play time if you run compass extensions or other third party add-ons, which are prone to worse memory leaks, but there are leaks in the unmodified client that will limit a 2 GiB RAM system under Windows XP to around 90-120 minutes of active play before the segementation violation (more memory helps, since this is essentially an "out of memory" failure).
