I've been having the same issue with Kindle for PC 1.17.44183 in Debian
bullseye (testing), either using the Debian repository version 5.0.3, or from
the WineHQ repository (versions 5.5, 6.0, and 6.1).

I tried to use it with the "winhttp" and "wininet" installed via winetricks but
I still got the same issue.
