What version of wine?

Is the game downloadable / is there a demo with the same problem?

Does: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/3DO/Heroes\ Chronicles/Conquest\ of\
the\
Underworld; wine UNDERWORLD.EXE help?
