There's a regression, however. On startup, you'll get an error saying:
An error occured during startup. Number 438 from dvdflick:
Object doesn't support this property or method
Last DLL error: 0

workaround is winetricks dcom98.

After that, you can run the app. This bug is still present in
wine-1.3.0-111-g3bc110d.
