Everytime I try to change a key in controls config program freezes, I cannot enter the key, nor can I cancel the operation.
Please, have a look at bug #8854. In comment #31 there is a modified dinput.dll.so file. Is replacing your existing dinput.dll.so with this file workarounds your problem? If so, this is essentially a dupe of #8854.
