Same here, also Arch Linux x86_64:

mesa 8.0.2-1
libgl 8.0.2-1
libglapi 8.0.2-1
ati-dri 8.0.2-1
xorg-server 1.12.0-1
xf86-video-ati 6.14.3-2
wine 1.5.0-1
kernel 3.1.5 (but I tried 3.3 as well)

Why do you say the issue is mesa? Wine is clearly stuck in a deadlock.
