One can only assume that Windoze doesn't really pay attention to the flags you are looking at, or they are decoded differently, or... whatever.
When I say I wrote some tests, I mean I ran them on Windows. I wrote a test program that calls CryptQueryObject with exactly the same parameters that signcode.exe does, and it fails for me on Windows XP SP3. That's why I'm confused. As far as I can tell, as of today's git Wine's CryptQueryObject works as Windows's does for .spc files.
