Confirmed using wine-1.1.25 on Ubuntu 9.04 "Jaunty" x86_64.
You can still login/use the last.fm scrobbler by deleting all but the first of the strange letters. The first letter is the actual character you pressed on your keyboard.
Yeh but it gets quite a bit harder for entering your password lol :P
It is just more annoying. You can just count the stars. Enter the first letter, then remove all but the first star. Then enter the second letter and remove all but the first two stars.
