That looks more like your system is misconfigured - so pretty much on par with
quite a few of your other bugs.

Have you tested those files with 'file' to check if one of them isn't actually
the executable ?

What does 'locale' return for your system ?

If that directory is a result of an installer, did you try to uninstall the
game and rerun the installer with WINEDEBUG=file to check when the names are
being corrupted ?
