I updated to WINE 1.1.40 and still suffered intermittent loss of sound. After
discussion in #winehq on irc.freenode.net, I found that the default sound
driver, ALSA, was not enough for FullTilt Poker. I had to also enable the OSS
driver and loss of sound and resulting crashes have stopped.
