Did you try in a clean prefix without any winetricks dll? Vlad's test is not
valid since he says he is using all directx dlls from winetricks.

To check if the problem is related to the amount of output information in the
console try running the game disabling all wine output like:

WINEDEBUG=-all wine game_executable_file.exe
