I'd like to know which MCI commands get used. I've done some testing with the MCI command shell using MPEG inside a .wav as well as .mpg audio files, with and without some native dll, with waveaudio (mciwave.dll) and mpegvideo (mciqtz.dll) and the results are not pretty: Sound is chopped and awfully distorted. Overrun errors from Alsa.
