Question to clarify: Does this bug still persist if you simply turn off hardware acceleration of sound and set mode to "Windows XP" or lower?
That wouldn't help, because there are actually DLLs missing. They're called "x3daudio1_*.dll", "xactengine2_*.dll", "xapofx1_*.dll" and "xaudio2_*.dll". Drakensang for example refuses to start due to the missing DLLs unless you suply the native versions. My understanding is that these DLLs are part of the newer DirectX packages (somewhere from June 2008 onward). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
