I tried 3 different versions of wine, 1.5.25, 1.5.31 and 1.6-rc1. I also tried the setarch trick: setarch i386 -R -B -3 wine Steam.exe MetroLL crashes after at least 5 minutes but no more than 10 minutes. I am running ubuntu 12.04-amd64 On the hardware side, i got: 32 GB of ram 1 GeForce GTX 670X board using driver 310.14 Metroll.exe turns into a zombie. I have to CTRL+ALT+F1 and kill -9 it to be able to use X again. Log file ends up with these lines. err:d3d:wined3d_debug_callback 0x17918d10: "GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY error generated.
