Sadly I didn't read inbetween so I did a complete regression, but nice to know how to do that anyway. Newest Git is working again, so I think we can close here Fredrik, your idea breaks some of the graphics. I don't think it't the favourable approach to change something with the software setup when a new wine version breaks compatibility. In this case it was clearly a bug/problem of wine, not of the game setup.
