On the username picking screen, click cancel. Pick LAN UDP again, and a box will pop up: "Unable to initialize network provider." The following appears in console for each attempt to connect to LAN: fixme:winsock:WSAIoctl unsupported WS_IOCTL cmd (9800000c) fixme:winsock:WSAIoctl unsupported WS_IOCTL cmd (9800000c) UDP LAN play does not work for me. I'm running StarCraft Brood War version 1.15.2. Results are the same if I go further in, such as picking a username or starting a game, then come back.
