After "winetricks glsl=disabled" nothing changes... That's not all that surprising for an OpenGL application. Also, disabling GLSL does more harm than good in general. (I.e., the advice you got is completely bogus.) If anything, you should probably create a +wgl log and ask Roderick to take a look, if he still cares about Wine stuff.
