There is a square semi-transparent area surrounding the cursor. If you hover over e.g. a building the cursor changes as usual (showing for example the "repair this building" command), but the square remains visible. The square is always there, from the main game screen to the window asking if you really want to quit DoW DC. The square is about as big as the cursor in length x length. I play Dawn of War Dark Crusade on Ubuntu 8.10 using the proprietary drivers of ATI (version 9.3) for my Radeon 9700 Pro. Running on the latest version of Wine (1.22) and DoW DC version 1.11. I tried to make a screenshot but I get a black screen every time.
