I don't know what makes you think it's a Gecko bug. It's definitely mshtml bug and the hack I've attached proves that.
You are correct, my mistake. Thank you for pointing out my error (and by the way I just added your patch to the howto as the preferred method for enabling Flash in Steam). In any case it's not a Steam bug, it's a mshtml bug which applies to any application that uses it. Shouldn't it be moved to another thread? Or is it appropriate to post generic component bugs on application specific threads?
