I installed the game from original DVD media and worked around the media validation issue with a patched 'DX2.exe' (bug 21448). The buttons swirl from right around a rotating logo to the left side when you click them. After pressing 'ESC' the buttons swirl back to their original position. Resolving 'fixed'.
