This can be accomplished by moving the cursor fast when clicking some menu buttons or it happens randomly in game or menu. Might take many tries. Some assumptions: Not SMP related, happens on both dual core and single core. Not related to DirectDrawRenderer, both GDI and OpenGL has the same problem.
