Same Kindle 1.16.0 network connectivity issue for me with wine-5.22,
wine-6.0-rc5, and wine-6.0-rc6 on Slackware (-current), 32-bit WINEPREFIX.
Stdout attached.

I also get network connectivity issues with Adobe Digital Editions, too, which
doesn't even run without segfaulting anymore now that I upgraded from
wine-6.0-rc5 to wine-6.0-rc6.
