Yes, but how about when not running virtual desktop? 

I just tested without virtual desktop mode. 
I still get the same crash as before when trying to run without virtual
desktop. But this is kinda configuration error, since you need to have the
resolutions what game wants and xrandr doesnt find since there is no such
resolution.
