Is this still an issue in current (0.9.52) wine?
Sorry, I have not been keeping up with versions. I used the original WINE WININET implementation to build a WININET replacement on top of a proprietary transport stack in a windows environment. The changes I proposed to the original addressed my problems. However, you can close the bug if you want.
