Have you tried anything newer than 1.1.30? There were some fixes afterward. If
it still happens with latest Git, can you provide a +relay trace? You can
probably filter it to just openal if it's too long:

WINEDEBUG=+relay wine app.exe 2>&1 | grep -i openal &>log.txt
