Many distros keep fluidsynth off by default
Never even heard of fluidsynth.
I don't think Wine should be searching for and starting random executables.
...wash your ears  Seriously though, fluidsynth is one of few linux midi software synthesizers, one of the last that are still alive upstream. It's a bit of a heavy beast, but it's likely hard to write something lightweight that would cover midi synth properly. On one hand, using it would be making wine start a 'random' executable, on the other without it it's either 'winetricks dmusic' or you need to somehow know what to do when some/all of the music is not being played in the program of your choosing (among other - to know it's midi music) and how exactly to make it work on linux. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
