I experience what I think is the same bug, using Pegasus Mail 4.41, Wine 1.1.5, and Ubuntu 8.04.
I've got exactly the same setup (assuming typo with Wine should read 1.1.15) I have contributed to Bug #10213 for over a year now, this too relates to Pegasus.
