http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23578 --- Comment #48 from Professor Sock, of St. Trinians. <an.unwashed.stripy.stocking(a)gmail.com> 2010-07-15 19:43:16 --- It looks like Valve might have sorted this. Played for a number of hours this evening with no problems at all and the intermittent stuttering which used to occur also seems to be completely gone. This is a change from the game becoming unusable after 10-15 mins on average. This apparent improvement seems to have coincided with a patch which was released today: ------ "Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat: Source Updates Released Product Update - Valve 14:46 Updates to Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat: Source have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include: Engine Tuned thread initialization to improve performance on CPUs with more than four core" --------- Undocumented fix perhaps? Can anyone confirm or was I just very very lucky? The improvement seems total however. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
