MS is opening source for Windows Forms for .NET Core:
https://github.com/dotnet/winforms .  Same for WPF (see Bug 24501 ) and WinUI
for UWP apps.

Will this work with wine-mono/mono easily? Or is this a reason to migrate to
.NET Core?
