Juan, are there any plans on continuing the work on this issue (timeline)? If you need hints how to detect/verify .cat signatures just ask.
I'm not actively working on it. I don't think decoding .cat files will be that hard, just the usual boring asn.1 stuff. I haven't looked into it beyond that.
