The installation fails the first time because it cannot switch cd's. The second time it will fail with this error: err:msi:msi_cabextract FDICopy failed err:msi:ACTION_InstallFiles Failed to extract cabinet: L"Data1.cab" err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallFinalize" returned 1627 To fix it, remove the destination files first before starting the installation, or do it properly the first time. This bug should be fixed, i don't see a reason why it wouldn't want to overwrite a "read-only" file that has write-privileges.
