If I register DHTMLED.OCX manually and try to run the application again, I get another crash stemming from: err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {438da5e0-f171-11d0-984e-0000f80270f8} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {438da5e0-f171-11d0-984e-0000f80270f8} could be created for context 0x1 which appears to be the "TriEditDocument Class".
