Yes, that's what I'm seeing.  I went as far as padding with 48 bytes, and it
just alternated crashing and not crashing.

Regarding SSE, an example is MOVAPD, an aligned version of MOVUPD that requires
an address aligned on a 16-byte boundary when accessing memory.
