[Bug 12948] zmud does not run under Ubuntu 8.04 (...turn off system debuggers)

So, with every update that comes my way I hope and pray that this time it will
be fixed.  Each time I am disappointed.  Is there no way to identify and/or
remove these "system debuggers"?   Is it even Wine or the OS?
