I managed to get it working by exiting my KDE session, logging in console mode and restarting X. Then it works perfectly and I no longer have the err:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Resolution change not successful -- perhaps display has changed? message. However whenever I boot up my machine for the first time, I can not play the game (without first doing this trick). Where is the problem? In wine or in my Xorg config?
