[Bug 11995] Wipeout XL hangs at startup

Tested with Wine 10.16 on Ubuntu Mate 22.04 running on VMware.

Created new 32bit prefix.
Installer of the demo seems to run  without errors.

During startup of the game there is a graphics selection window shown, but it
doesn't look right.
