[Bug 29128] L.A. Noire fails to launch

Tried on 1.7.3 with installed latest patch 2617 and directx9, dotnet20,
vcrun2008. No crash, no errors, just a loading screen. Two processes of
LANoire.exe
Waited for around 10 minutes but nothing. Any ideas?
