Indeed, I have not looked at the patch yet. But as I am writing this from my
new personal laptop, there are very good chances that I will review the split
patch tomorrow.

OTOH, since the description looks like "the same old patch but split and
updated to apply cleanly to new Wine", I think that the "introduces regression
for Raymond with OSS" objection is still valid.
