Do you use alsa or pulseuadio in your system/wine? What's set in winecfg? The crash appears to be due to missing libpulse.
I have ALSA (built into the kernel and set as default) and also have pulse libraries installed for the few programs that need it. winecfg shows winealsa.drv, and sound functions well. (In reply to Andrew Eikum from comment #4)
Looks like it's crashing in winmm. A log with the channels from <http://wiki.winehq.org/Sound> would be most helpful.
